Hillyard: Airman First Class
Robert "Danny" Hillyard graduated Dec. 30, 2011, from Lackland U.S. Air Force Base in Texas as an airman first class.
Hillyard is a 2002 Yosemite High School graduate and worked as a firefighter for Madera County and Cal Fire until November 2011.
Oak Creek Intermediate School held an assembly to recognize students nominated by their teachers as ‘Student of the Month’ for exemplifying the character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
Each student was presented with a certificate, a card which allowed them to skip one homework assignment in any class, and an OCI T-shirt.Dylan Michael Kurtley
