Joy Pestell
Joy Pestell died April 13, 2008 at the age of 77. She was born in Los Angeles and married Jack Pestell in 1947. He died in 2007. She lived in Bass Lake for 45 years and enjoyed nature, gardening, cooking and boating.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Loria and T.C. Prince of Clovis, son Jack of Madera; grandchildren Lisa and her husband Richard Petty of Pasadena, Jay Pestell of Madera and Rashell and husband Tim Sprague of Madera; great-grandchildren Elizabeth and William Petty of Pasadena and a sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Robert Bellimore of Washington.
Yolanda Mooneyham
Yolanda Mooneyham, born July 31, 1954, died April 16, 2008. She was a resident of Oakhurst and had worked at the Pines Resort and had a day-care center, Yo-Yo's. Last year she and her son delivered Hug-a-Bears to Children's Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Rick and their 5-year-old son, Clyde.
A memorial service will be conducted at Our Lady of the Sierra Catholic Church, 40180 Indian Springs Road, Oakhurst on Saturday, May 3 at 9 a.m.

Ronald Ralph Alspaw
Ronald Ralph Alspaw, 59, died April 15, 2008. He was born Oct. 25, 1948 in Sacramento. He lived in Coarsegold and before that in North Fork and worked in landscaping. He enjoyed coin collecting and family time.
He is survived by his wife, Kathrine Alspaw of Coarsegold; children Jeff, Rena and Samantha Alspaw and stepchildren Sheri Chavez, Ashley Browne and Wayne, Aaaron and Brandon Woodward.
Services are April 26 at 2 p.m. at Yosemite Lakes Park Church.
