Scott Norman

Scott Norman died April 5 in Oakhurst. He was born July 22, 1961 in Fort Meade, Md., to Lon and Jill Norman.

He was a professional drummer who played with the Jimmy Wakely Western band and with Avalon.

He moved to Oakhurst in 1987 and worked as a tile setter, occasionally playing with local bands.

He is survived by his mother, Jill Chase; a sister, Wendy Norman and a son, Ryan Norman all of Burbank; his uncle and aunt, Tom and Joyce Norman of Ahwahnee and his companion of more than 20 years, Eloyce Tobin.
