Dustin R. Malanca
Dustin R. Malanca died April 6, 2008 at the age of 20. Malanca was born in Mountain View to Dennis and Anne Malanca on Feb. 2, 1988. He was a resident of O'Neals for the past 16 years. He graduated from Yosemite High School in 2006 and was attending Fresno City College, majoring in criminal justice.
He was a volunteer for the Madera County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue. During and after his high school years, Malanca was active with the photo media class and criminal justice class. His goal was to complete college and become a Madera County deputy sheriff. His dream was to work for the sheriff's office in the Mountain Area. He was a volunteer assistant coach for the Yosemite High School cross country team.
He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Anne Malanca of O'Neals; his grandparents, Arnold and Louise Jones and Angelina Malanca of Fresno; his brother, Dennis E. Malanca Jr. of Mustang, Okla. and aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Michael Huff
Michael Huff, 54, died April 5, 2008 in Oakhurst. He was born April 19, 1953 in Blythe. He was a 30-year resident of Coarsegold and was a contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Cook; sons Josh Huff and Jason Cook; a daughter, Shandra Dill; his father, Ken Huff; one sister and two brothers.
