MyTri goodie bags

August 27, 2014

The MyTri Bass Lake Youth Triathlon is looking for things to stuff in the goodie bags for the youth participating in the second annual MyTri being held at Miller’s Landing on September 6th.

The Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau is looking for 120 items each to put into bags — like logo items, food/snack, pencil, pens, sporting items, coupons, free meal for the athlete.

If you’d like to donate, please deliver the items to the visitors bureau by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 2, or contact the visitors bureau to have someone pick them up.

The inaugural 2013 MyTri had 104 participants. This year up to 120 are expected - mostly local, but several out of town and Fresno kids. Ages are from 5 years to 17 years.

The Sierra Star is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
