August 3, 2014

Oakhurst attorney David Linn has received the endorsement from the Madera Police Officers Association in his campaign for Madera County District Attorney.

Linn received the most votes in the June 3 primary election with 44%. Incumbent District Attorney Michael Keitz received 37% and candidate Marinda Neal received 19%.

Linn will now face Keitz in the Nov. 4 general election.

“I am confident in David Linn’s qualifications and leadership abilities,” said Madera Police Officers Association President Dan Foss in a prepared statement. “Our organization believes David represents the change needed to restore stability in the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.”

Linn has previously received endorsements from Sheriff John Anderson, the Madera County Deputy Sheriffs Association, the Chowchilla Police Officers Association, Madera County Correctional Officers Association, and the Central California Police Officers Association.

“I am humbled to have earned the support of the Madera Police Officers Association,” Linn said. “I look forward to working closely with the fine men and women of the Madera Police Department if elected this fall.”
