2014 Madera Fair entry deadline coming up soon

The Madera District Fair is currently accepting entry forms from local residents hoping to compete in a variety of divisions including livestock, floriculture, arts & crafts and more! The 2014 Madera District Fair is “The Place to Bee.” and the Fair is celebrating the role of the honey bee in Central Valley Agriculture and you can “Bee” involved too! But don’t wait too long to enter because entry forms are due Tuesday, August 12.

This year at the fair there are some amazing competitions. Everything from crafts and cows, to flowers and food; we have something for everyone. According to Madera Fair CEO Scott Sample, “The Exhibit program is one of the most important pieces of the Fair and has a long history of showcasing the best that Madera County residents have to offer. We look forward to see the amazing creativity of our county showcased here at the Fair each and every year.”

Competitions are available for both individual and group entry and include numerous competitions for classroom projects. Exhibitor Handbooks are now available at many local retailers and offices in Madera County or on our website at www.maderafair.com. This handbook contains information on the competitions that are available, guidelines for submitting items and all applicable rules.

So don’t forget, entry forms are due Tuesday, August 12, but you don’t have to wait until then. Send in your entry forms today!
