Hannah Nevins, 11, is well on her way to doing something she loves walking the runway.
Hannah attended the 2014 International Presentation of Performers (IPOP) convention in Los Angeles during the week of July 4, and walked away with the honor of first runner-up for her modeling runway audition.
She has also received numerous call backs from talent agents and agencies, and has accepted a modeling contract with the Bratty Modeling Agency in San Francisco.
"We're not sure right now what that means," proud father Terry said. "It could be runway modeling for clothes, or print for clothing stores or catalogs but I think she will be doing a lot of runway modeling because that's where she excels. She beat out kids 17-19 years old in the runway competition at IPOP."
IPOP is the premier event held twice a year to showcase new talent for the acting and modeling industry. This year's event drew more than 500 participants from the U.S. and Australia, with more than 300 talent agents and agencies looking for new talent.
During the convention, Hannah, who has been interested in modeling for 15 months, had the opportunity to meet and spend time with some very popular and talented young actors and models such as the star in a Nicolodeon series and a Disney channel star.
"IPOP was absolutely the best experience I have had in my entire life," Hannah exclaimed.
"Our entire family is very happy and proud of her hard work and dedication to get to this point," added Terry.
Hannah is a graduate of the John Robert Powers modeling School, and attended five months of IPOP Model training in San Francisco. She will attend Oak Creek Intermediate the upcoming school year.
