Kelley Harrison awarded a Master of Arts degree

Kelley Harrison

Kelley Harrison, a 2004 graduate of North Fork Elementary School, 2008 graduate of Yosemite High School, and 2012 graduate of Fresno State University, has been awarded a Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Kansas University.

The title of her thesis was, "Increasing Compliance with Essential Healthcare Routines: Acquisition, Maintenance, and Generalization."

Harrison will continue on at Kansas University to earn her doctorate under a full-ride scholarship, where she is specializing in research involving autism. She hopes to run her own autism center in the future.

Harrison is the daughter of Mary Beth and Robert Harrison of North Fork, and granddaughter of Darwin and Mary Lou Bahr of North Fork. Harrison credits her family, teachers, and the support of the mountain community with helping her succeed.
