Gertrud I. Clark, of Coarsegold, died June 14, 2014 at the age of 103.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the Mountain Area for 70 years and moved to Yosemite in 1945 before moving to Oakhurst in 1963, and later to Coarsegold in 2012.
She was born in Chemnitz, Germany and worked in show business from 1926 to 1956. Prior to her retirement Clark appeared all over Europe, America, Canada, and Australia, performing twice at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Mrs. Clark enjoyed skiing, sewing, playing Yahtzee and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Clark who died Nov. 30, 1978.
She is survived by her children Lucie Richter and Role Clark; grandchildren Robert Clark and Kelly Adams; and nieces, Kitty and Horst Pokorra.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 26, at the Oakhurst Lutheran Church.
