Benjamin Lopez Camarena died May 25, 2014 at the age of 83. He was born March 31, 1931 in Madera to Selvestre and Eva Camarena.
Mr. Camarena worked as a forklift driver at Heublein Winery for 30 years. His hobbies were hunting, spending time with family and friends, and meeting new people.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Josie Perez.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel; sons Glen (and wife Pam) of Riverside; Mike of Hanover Park, Ill.; and Anthony (and wife Myrthala) of Selma; grandchildren, Melinda McFarland, Todd, Nathan, Jordan, Barak, Kristen Goodson, Alyssa Schneit, and Rene and Richard Flores; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Richard (and wife Kathy) of Medford, Ore., Jess (and wife Nancy) of Morgan Hill and Sylvester (and wife Mary Jean) of Madera.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., May 31, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Oakhurst.
