Fall and Summer enrollment opens at Oakhurst College

May 15, 2014

The Oakhurst College Center enrollment for the summer and fall semesters is now open for all students. Two summer sessions are being offered, a four-week and a six-week. The four-week session will run from May 27 through June 20. The six-week session begins on June 23 and ends on August 1. The fall semester begins on August 11.

The courses are convenient and affordable for the student returning home from college for the summer, new students or the re-entry student. All of the courses being offered meet general education requirements towards an associate degree and are transferable.

The summer classes offered are online, with no in-person attendance required. These classes require a computer with web access. If you do not have a computer, the computer lab at the college center will be open Tuesday through Thursday throughout the summer.

For fall, the college center will be offering a variety of online and on-ground courses. Some of the new classes being offered include applied accounting, word processing Fundamentals, spreadsheet fundamental, introduction to language, introduction to language for teachers, and fitness and health.

To enroll in summer or fall classes, you can visit the Oakhurst College Center or register online at www.oakhurstcenter.com. The College Center is located off Highway 41 on Civic Circle Drive behind the Rite Aid store. Classes are $46 a unit with a $11 health fee.
