Art - On the Move in North Fork

May 7, 2014

Wonderfully art-full things are happening at the Greater North Fork Art Gallery this Spring. All sessions will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and are free.

Saturday, May 10 — professional photographer Joanne Freemire will demonstrate photo note-card construction and it will be your chance to learn an inexpensive way to turn photos into usable art.

Sunday, May 11 — join Fine Art Photographer Gay Abarbanell as she talks about how to recognize a great shot, and how to make a good shot better.

Saturday, May 17 — come along as teacher of photography Paul Henry Abram dissects the camera — his and yours (bring yours along). It will also offer a great time to have any nagging questions about photo shoots answered by a Pro.

Sunday, May 18 — painter Marcia Abram will apply water colors to paper and demonstrate the interactions of the two. Either watch as she brings a painting to life or bring along your own easel and materials to follow along.

Watch for further announcements as the Greater North Fork Art Gallery becomes more and more interactive with the community.
