Sheriff's Log - 4/24/14 edition of the Sierra Star

April 22, 2014 


9:00 a.m. April 8 — Deputy conducted a warrant check in Madera County near Highway 49 regarding a male subject with a $15,000 misdemeanor warrant. Subject given a citation and court date.

10:55 a.m. April 8 — theft of a log cabin structure at Joyful Noise Preschool near Highway 49.

2:11 p.m. April 8 — report of a burglary to a locked shed followed by a physical altercation between the victim and suspect.

12:00 a.m. April 11 — Deputies were dispatched to residence regarding three juveniles runaways out of Contra Costa County. They were located and taken back to Oakhurst substation until their parents picked them up.

12:28 p.m. April 12 — Oakhurst resident reported unknown subject sliced two of his truck tires near River Park Road.

3:28 p.m. April 12 — Deputy dispatched to McDonald's parking lot regarding assault. Upon arrival deputy observed several subjects going into McDonalds. The victim advised that another subject said he was going to shoot him. The suspect was on county probation and arrested.

10:50 a.m. April 14 — Unknown suspect(s) break out window in ticket booth at school.


5:41 a.m. April 10 — A man enters basement kitchen office for several hours. The office was ransacked with forced entry into locked containers. A fire sprinkler was physically forced on in the office to destroy evidence. The man exited the office taking a laptop computer, label maker and four chefs knives in a computer case. Damage was estimated at $20,112.
