Audubon hosting Walkers White Rock Road field trip

April 8, 2014

The Fresno Audubon Society invites birdwatchers and adventurers to join them Wednesday, April 16, for a day of birding the Old Highway and White Rock Road to Le Grand. Those who plan on attending are asked to bring binoculars, lunch or snacks and a happy attitude for a fun day of viewing birds, flowers and maybe even wildlife.

The group will meet at the Oakhurst Sears parking lot at 8 a.m. or 8:45 a.m. at the Mariposa Fairgrounds. Oakhurst Sears is located west of Hwy 41. Go left on Hwy 49 and right on Junction Drive at the signal. For more information contact Nina Jones at mtnlynx@sti.net or (559) 760-1624.

Remember no dogs are allowed on our bird walks. It's better for the dog and the wildlife.

Note: we are not meeting at Pilot
