Winter weather advisory

March 28, 2014 

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and strong winds, which is in effect from noon Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday for the higher elevations of the southern Sierra Nevada. Snow accumulations: 7 to 10 inches above 7000 feet. Elevation: snow level falling to 5000 feet by Saturday evening. Timing: snow will begin falling Saturday morning with the heaviest snow Saturday afternoon and evening.
