North Fork man arrested on child molestation charges

Edward James Lyons, 85, of North Fork found himself in court for a preliminary hearing Friday, March 14, following the arrest and accusations of child molestation.

Lyons was arrested Friday, February 28, and was held before Madera County Superior Court Judge Dale Blea.

His next court appearance is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. April 4, at the Madera County Superior Court, Department 2.

Lyons remains in jail and is being held on a $900,000 bond.
