Drug testing now available in Oakhurst

February 4, 2014

A new business adjacent to the Sierra Star in the Oakhurst Shopping Center on Crane Valley Road, is providing collection services for the purpose of drug and alcohol detection.

Bear Country Drug Testing, owned by Tracy Stafford, provides the service for a number of business and agency clients for pre-employment, random testing programs, suspicion, and post accidents. Testing is also provided for return to duty and follow-up testing programs to monitor previous "positive" results.

"We also provide services from local and county agencies, state and federal agencies, law enforcement, various court systems for individual testing programs, county family reunification courts, state child and family services agencies, rehabilitation agencies, insurance companies, and lawyers representing child custody or paternity cases," Stafford said.

The clinic contracts with Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration certified laboratories and is a member of the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association.

Specimen collections can include urine, saliva, sweat patches and hair samples.

"We also have evidentiary breath test (EBT) machines with printer confirmation," Stafford said. The business conducts both clinic-site and mobile collection services.

Stafford said the clinic is available to offer collection and testing services or consultations 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and after hours by appointment. Details: (559) 658-2327, bearcountrydrugtesting.com.
