I'm writing to let everyone know about a local business that went above and beyond required service at a time of intense need.
My husband died in the second week of December. Before he died, we had contacted Palm Memorial Sierra Chapel when he was first diagnosed, so procedures were in place. Everything went smoothly until my husband's primary care physician held things up. This physician is the person who must fill out and sign the death certificate. I was at a standstill.
When I did not receive any communication from this doctor, it was impossible to access bank accounts and handle financial matters. So Craig Campbell, Palm Memorial Sierra Chapel's manager and Lisa Lewis, customer service specialist, stepped in. They got the required certificate amendment and went in person to have the doctor sign it. Finally, I could move forward.
I want our community to know about the kind, compassionate, and highly competent services I received from Palm Memorial Sierra Chapel. They helped me at a time when I felt emotionally vulnerable and still had to get details taken care of.
