Dorothy Valerie Coleman died on November 20, 2013 in North Fork of natural causes at the age of 93.
She was born July 15, 1920 in Havre, Montana to Don and Teresa Krisher. The Krishers moved to Santa Ana, Calif. where she graduated from Santa Ana High School.
After high school, Coleman married Warren in Yuma, Ariz. on May 15, 1940. After raising their family in Orange County, they relocated to Bass Lake to start the Coleman Mobile Home Sales.
Coleman enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, football, staying up late to watch television, and playing poker.
Coleman is survived by her children, son Greg and his wife Mary of Corona, Calif; daughters Sandra Staig of Oakhurst, and Pam and husband John Forncrook of Beaverton, Oreg; 11 grandchildren, Tyson, Tiffany, Scott, Mark, Travis, Dee, Lisa, Ryan and Tirsa; six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren, who died Dec. 11, 1989, her son Michael, who dies in 2010, and her granddaughter, Lisa, who died in 2012.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Los Alamos Cemetery in Los Alamos, Calif. in the spring of 2014.
