Sierra Estates invites seniors for the holidays

Staff ReportNovember 26, 2013

Sierra Estates Assisted Living invites seniors who are alone for the holidays, or can’t cook, to a Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013.

If you know of a family that needs dinner delivered or a place to go for football, socializing and a great dinner we will pick seniors up and bring them to the center or call to have a plate delivered to their home.

The dinner is free as a way to give back to the community and help those who are not always capable of cooking enjoy the holidays.

The dinner will include a full-blown turkey meal and will start at 2 p.m. for those attending. Pick-ups will be at noon and meals will be sent to homes around 3 p.m. on Thursday.

For those interested please call a day ahead (Wednesday) for reservations.
