Christmas tree lighting

November 26, 2013

The Bass Lake Christmas tree lighting ceremony and parade of lights will be held at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, in The Pines Village. In past years, there have been many great raffle prizes, including bikes, iPods, gift certificates, gift baskets and services.

All this was made possible because of the generous support of the Mountain Area, and it is hoped that this year will .be no different. "There are many ways people have found to help us make this event safe, fun and a successful celebration," said Cheri Thomas of Pines Market.

"We hope this year we may also count on you for your donations of time, money, energy, prizes, services, or food."

Donations can be sent to the Pines Market, in care of Cheri Thomas or Earlene Keller. Raffle tickets will be sold in the Pines Market at $1 per ticket and winners must be present to win.

Free photos with Santa will be taken in the Lakeview Room of the Bass Lake Event Center.

Please bring a new toy to donate to Toys for Tots.

"We truly appreciate you and your commitment, support and generosity for the tree lighting ceremony." Thomas said.

This event is sponsored by Bass Lake Event Center and Bass Lake Water Sports, with proceeds going to Yosemite High School choir and band.
