Murder case

The murder case involving two North Fork citizens was back underway in Madera County Superior Court.

Marc McMurrain, 35, of North Fork, was arrested back on Thursday Sept. 5 on suspicion of murder, and his wife, Jennifer, 32, was arrested a few days later for suspicion of accessory to murder in the death of Marc's brother, Christopher Garrity, 28.

Both suspects are being held at the Madera County Department of Corrections on $1 million bail.

A preliminary setting is scheduled for Dec. 6 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 9 to decide dates for a preliminary hearing.
