B&GC Vandalized

— Madera County Sheriff's Office

November 12, 2013

The Boys & Girls Club in Oakhurst took a hit sometime during this past weekend when an unknown number of suspects broke into the Oakhurst compound and smashed the van's window.

It's believed the vandals broke into a fenced area of the property, located on Indian Springs Road sometime between Friday night and early Monday morning.

The words, "I won" and other indecipherable messages were scratched into the van as well.

The Boys & Girls Club Director says it will cost the organization at least $200 just to replace the window.

Anyone who may have information about the vandalism is urged to call the Madera County Sheriff's Office at (559) 567-7770 and reference case #13 - 4704.
