Bobby Dean Standlee Sr., of Ahwahnee, died on Sept. 17, 2013 at the age of 77.
Mr. Standlee was born April 20, 1936 to parents Flossie and Ernest Standlee.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator most of his life and was a member of the union local 3 and worked for Kewitt Pacific.
He loved to work, meet new friends and traveling while keeping up on those friendships.
Mr. Standlee is preceded in death by parents, two sons; Bobby Dean Jr. and Dennis Standlee, and his son-in-law, Jimmy Phillips.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Standlee, his daughter Charity Phillips, son Chad Standlee, all of Ahwahnee, grandchildren; Jaycee Smith, of Mariposa, Michael Phillips, of Coarsegold, Michelle Rounsivill, J.T. Phillips, Kourtni McLuaghlin, Chelsee Albright, all of Ahwahnee, sister Bonnie Parker, of Patterson and 14 great-grandchildren an many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 23 at Sierra Baptist Church in Ahwahnee.
