"Rip Van Winkle"

The North Fork Fall Follies will present Rip Van Winkle this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8 and 9 at the North Fork Town Hall. A homemade dinner of chili, corn bread and green salad, followed by desserts precedes the show at 6 p.m., with the theater presentation beginning at 7 p.m.

The show, directed by Terry Butler, has been adapted especially for Mountain Area residents. Jean Butterfield will open the show with musical tunes and children who are currently or have been North Fork School students will sing and dance. The North Fork Boosters will run the bar and there will be a special raffle each night of the show.

Cost for adults is $12 for the dinner show, and $6 for children aged 12 and under; family price (immediate only) is $30. The proceeds from will be used to help support the North Fork School arts and music programs. It’s a show dedicated to everyone who works so hard to keep the arts and music alive and thriving at the North Fork School.
