Orrie Bush, of Oakhurst, died on Dec. 6, 2012 at the age of 93.
He was born May 30, 1919 in Los Angeles, to parents Luther Bush and Ethel Shorbe.
Mr. Bush graduated from Lincoln High School in 1938 and was part of the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He spent his career working as a telephone linemen before retiring to the Mountain Area. He had a love for motorcycles and was a member of the Pasadena Motorcycle Club. Mr. Bush also enjoyed photography, NASCAR and watching football.
Mr. Bush is preceded in death by his parents, sibling Billie Cundiff and his daughter Kim DiPiero.
He is survived by his wife Geraine; two daughters, Kim and Geri Li Roy; grandchildren, Jamie Ann, Stacey Wade, Deena Kinkeade, heather Livingston, Ashleigh DiPiero, MacKenzie DiPiero; nephew Richard Orrie; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Nov. 11 at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
