Wheeler hosts emergancy access routes meeting

Supervisor Tom Wheeler will hold a special town meeting to discuss emergency access routes for Mountain Area citizens..

Wheeler will be at the Oakhurst Community Center on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. to discuss with the community different options and routes to take in the case of an emergency.

Cal Fire and other agencies will be in attendance to talk about evidence that has been gathered to support certain cases that call for emergency access roads to be available to those who need them.

Areas of topic will include:

· John West Road/Indian Springs Road

· Cascadel Woods

· Cedar Valley

· Trabuco/Wells Road

· Road 423 and Road 422

Anyone who lives in an area with only one way out is highly encouraged to attend this meeting
