Margaret Yslava Siqueiros

Obituary for 10/3/13 of the Sierra Star

Margaret Yslava Siqueiros, of Watsonville, formerly from North Fork, died on Sept. 18, 2013 at the age of 96.

Ms. Siqueiros was born in Fairbank, Arizona on Sept. 11, 1917 to parents Concepcion Yslava Siqueiros and Albert E.

The family moved to Los Angeles, California, finally settling at Fig Garden, then a part of the Fresno area. She moved to North Fork and eventually to Watsonville.

Ms. Siqueiros worked for Schenley Distillers based in Fresno before retiring in North Fork.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion Yslava Siqueiros and Albert E.; brothers, Armando J. Siqueiros and Albert Siqueiros; and four sisters, Caroline Barbo, Amalia Barbo, Belen Flores and Inez Parra.

She was involved with St. Josephs during her 20 years in North Fork.

Ms. Siqueiros is survived by her brother Arthur F. Siqueiros and by numerous nephews and nieces, including great-nephews and great-nieces.

A simple celebration of life memorial is planned for Oct. 19, 2013 at Pajaro Valley Clubhouse, 739 Bronte Ave., Watsonville, California at 10 a.m.
