'Mickey' fans will gather Sept. 14 for Disney Daze

Disney fans from throughout Central California will gather 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at Oakhurst's Masonic Lodge for Disney Daze.

Joanna Spence, president of Yosemite-Oakhurst-Sierra 49Ears Club, sponsors of the event, said anyone that has even been enchanted by a Disneyland visit or a Disney movie, will not want to miss Disney Daze."

There will be Disney memorabilia vendors, silent auction, children's activities sponsored by the Children's Museum of the Sierra, raffle items, and special guest speakers.

There will be a Mickey Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. and hot dogs, chips and drinks available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Breakfast tickets, which include both breakfast and event admission, cost $10 for ages 10 through adult, and $5 for children nine and under. Admission only costs $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 10-17, and free for children nine and under.

Proceeds benefit scholarships, Children's Museum of the Sierra, Children's Hospital Central California and other community charities.

The Masonic Lodge is located on the south-east corner of Highway 49 and Redbud Drive.
