Sheriff launches search for missing boy with autism

A search to find a missing boy is underway in Madera County. Jacob Frandsen, 14, who is autistic, is described as an Asian male. He stands 5 feet tall and weighs 90 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts. He disappeared at around 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28. He vanished from his home located at 16823 Karen Road – between Avenues 16 ½ and 17. Currently, Madera County sheriff’s deputies, detectives and Citizen on Patrol volunteers are searching for the young boy. Anyone who may have information about Jacob’s whereabouts is urged to call the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at (559) 675-7770.
