NFL club membership

Sports Briefs for 8/22/13 edition of the Sierra Star

August 20, 2013

Memberships are now being accepted to Roman's NFL 9-ers club at Roman's Bar above Crab Cakes Restaurant.

The one-time membership fee of $9 entitles football fans to receive considerable food and beverage discounts and prizes during all televised NFL games.

Starting Sept. 5, a name will be drawn at the start of each quarter and that person will have the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for the chance to win 50% off guest check, free dessert or a pint of beer for a penny.

Club members receive 50% off all bar food, and on Sunday's bottomless bloody Mary's and Screwdrivers for $9 and eggs Benedict or breakfast burritos at half price 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Additional food specials will be available Monday night (rib-eye burgers $9) and Thursday night (all-you-can-eat-tacos $9).

At the end of the season a drawing will be held and nine lucky winners and their guest will be provided transportation to and from Roman's Bar via a stretch limo for the Super Bowl.
