Men's club present scholarships to golfers Wick and Keyser

Yosemite High School graduates Chris Wick and Jordan Keyser each were presented $1,000 scholarships June 19 from the Sierra Meadows Men's Golf Club.

Wick will be attending California State University, Monterey Bay this fall. He has been a member of the Yosemite High boys golf team for the past four years and a team captain. While maintaining a 3.3 grade point average, he was one of the leaders of the Badger golf team. He plans to major in psychology at CSU, Monterey.

Wick was recently named an honorable mention selection on the Fresno Bee's Central Section's boys golf All-star team.

Keyser graduated with a 4.24 grade point average and will play on the golf team at the University of Nevada, Reno in the fall.

She has been active with the First Tee of Fresno and has been a member of the girls golf team of Yosemite High for four years. She was the Badger team captain and was the North Area Champion this season. She was named the North Sequoia League's Most Valuable Play all four of her years at Yosemite.
