Milton 'Red' Wallace Berry Argue

Milton "Red" Wallace Berry Argue died May 27, 2013, at the age of 79.

Mr. Argue was a resident of Yosemite Lakes Park in Coarsegold for the past year, formerly of La Quinta, Palm Desert for 13 years. Prior to that, he lived in Westlake Village for 33 years.

Mr. Argue was born Sept. 17, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA.

He was an industrial arts/shop teacher at Portola Jr. High School in Encino for more than 30 years. He was also a master carpenter and general contractor that helped shape Westlake Village.

Mr. Argue served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ticonderoga during the Korean War.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping, travel, and meeting people. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in La Quinta.

Mr. Argue is survived by wife of 57 years, Barbara; daughters Karen Nixon and husband Randall, Kim Shea and husband Rory, and Kellie McConnell and husband Dennis; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29 at Yosemite Lakes Community Church, 43840 Patrick Ave Coarsegold. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
