Glorious Grads

June 11, 2013

The ceremonial tradition of high school commencements took place last week as 77 Minarets High School and 148 Yosemite High School seniors were recognized and honored before friends and relatives on June 6 and June 7, respectively.

Students, parents and school staff members were excited and eager to celebrate the many accomplishments the students have made over the past four years.

Class of 2013 speakers for Minarets were Zena Samuelson, Samantha Alspaw and Natori Hatfield. Valedictorians were Danielle Reimer and Brett Hendrickson.

For Yosemite, student speakers were Kayla Davis, senior class president; Angelica Smith, student speaker; Margaret Brewer and Christopher Grant, valedictorian speakers; and Lindsey Rubottom and David Nobles, class speakers. There were 17 valedictorians.
