Car show at Miller's Landing

-- Yosemite Sierra Visitors BureauMay 29, 2013

Numerous classic cars and fast boats will gather at Miller's Landing, located at the south end of Bass Lake, for the third annual South Shore Car and Boat Show that will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, June 2.

"We're really excited about our third car and boat show -- There will be more boats than ever and lots of beautiful cars," said Michelle Miller with Miller's Landing.

There will be 50 cars and at least 20 boats in the water, according to Miller.

In addition to the cars and boats, there will be music, a 50-50 drawing, kids activities and plenty of food.

"It's a lot of fun, people enjoy coming down to check out the cars combined with the gorgeous scenery of Bass Lake," Miller said.

Attendance is free for spectators. Anyone interested in entering a car or boat can contact Michelle Miller, (559) 642-3633. It costs $25 to enter, with proceeds benefiting the Children's Museum of the Sierra in Oakhurst.
