Heartland Opportunity Center, Inc. and The Arc Fresno announced an agreement Tuesday, May 14, whereby The Arc Fresno will become The Arc of Fresno/Madera Counties and become the primary provider of programs, activities and job training for intellectually and developmentally disabled clients in Fresno and Madera Counties in place of Heartland.
The Arc of Fresno/Madera Counties will continue to provide these services without interruption in the same locations as Heartland and will seek to build on Heartlands reputation, efforts and hard work in Madera County and further enhance the services and programs to be provided.
Informational meetings for program participants and the public will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 21 and at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, at 317 North E Street in Madera.
