The Childrens Museum of the Sierra will host a nature scavenger hunt from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 11 at the Castle Room in the museum, located at 49269 Golden Oak Drive. The scavenger hunt will be lead by ecologist Wendy Fisher.
Fisher has more than 15 years of experience providing land-use guidance to developers and city and county governments for issues related to wildlife, botanical and wetland resources.
Fisher has hidden a variety of nature items throughout the museum and all of them need to be found by children. Everyone who joins in the fun will be provided with a list of items hidden around the museum and there will be a set amount of time to find all of the items. All participants will receive a reward for participating.
The event is free with admission or membership.
