On April 6, Jack and Judy Williamson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married April 6, 1963 in San Juan Capistrano by a justice of the peace. Jack was in the Marines at the time, and was stationed at Camp Pendleton.

They made their first home in Fallbrook, and then moved to Oakhurst in 1965. Jack worked for O'Rourke Motor Sales and Judy was a homemaker. Later, Jack owned Sierra Land Leveling for many years and then went to work for Outback Concrete until he retired. Judy also worked at Colburn's Department Store in Oakhurst for 20 years, and then Outback Concrete for 19 years.

The couple have two children, son Jack Williamson and his wife Jerilyn; and daughter Julie Ruell and her husband Raymond; six granddaughters; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and a great-grandson due in May.
