An evening with Joe and Alison Sharino at Tenaya Lodge

Father and daughter will perform Saturday, April 6 at Tenaya Lodge

Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite proudly presents "An Evening with Joe and Alison Sharino" will be presented from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at

Tenaya Lodge's Grand Ballroom. The father-daughter duo will entertain guests with a special "unplugged" acoustic show featuring the best of classic rock, pop, folk, soul and country music with an emphasis on audience participation and sing-a-longs. Guests may enjoy the show only or the show and buffet dinner.

Seeing Joe and Alison on stage will be a rare treat for guests. Respectively from Oakhurst and Coarsegold, they live part-time in the San Francisco Bay Area where their bands are based and don't often perform together.

Joe is the leader of the Joe Sharino Band. Winner of 17 "Best Band" awards, the Joe Sharino Band has appeared on Showtime, MTV, ABC and NBC and been featured in TIME, Rolling Stone and the San Francisco Chronicle. Joe has also appeared in concert with Tom Petty, B.B. King, Santana, The Cars, The Kinks, The Temptations and Pat Benatar.

Leader of the Alison Sharino Band and a versatile vocalist who plays guitar and piano, Alison draws from a song list that spans seven decades. She has sung the national anthem for the Oakland A's four times and shared a stage with Kenny Loggins, Creedence Clearwater Revival's Doug Clifford, The Fifth Dimension, Little Anthony and the Imperials, and the Monterey and Santa Cruz County Symphony Orchestras.

"We are very excited to present 'An Evening with Joe & Alison Sharino,' said Paul Ratchford, Tenaya Lodge general manager. "We plan to bring more entertainment like this to our guests and the community."
