Two arrested following pursuit and accident near North Fork

Two people were arrested in North Fork following a pursuit that lead to a vehicle accident.

A sheriff's deputy was on routine patrol in the North Fork area and attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violations. The vehicle failed to stop, which resulted in a pursuit that ended with the vehicle colliding into an embankment.

Two adults who were occupants in the car were arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail. Those individuals were Rebecca Hodges, 24, of North Fork, who was booked on suspicion of recklessly driving, evading a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and driving without a license. Her bail was set at $25,000, Loterlo Damon Davis, 24, was booked on a probation violation. No bail was set.
