Back-door socialism

For Your Consideration

The evidence is irrefutable. If it isn't obvious by now you must be blind. The march towards socialism is in overdrive.

More than 198,000 private sector jobs were added in February 2013 according to the ADP National Employment Report. ADP didn't only report there was solid, if not spectacular, growth last month. It also revised up its estimate of the growth in January. It now says private employers added 215,000 jobs that month, 23,000 more than previously thought.

"Dow reaches all-time high" -- Tampa Bay Business Journal, March 5, 2013 -- "Corporate profits hit record as wages get squeezed" - Chris Isidore @CNNMoney, Dec. 4, 2012. We have more billionaires than ever. "The United States once again had the most billionaires at 442, a net gain of 17 from a year ago." See "Forbes rankings finds 210 new billionaires" by Chris Isidore.

"U.S. new-home sales posted the biggest monthly jump in nearly 20 years in January and consumer confidence rebounded in February to the highest level since last November" -- Real Time Economics, WSJ, Feb. 26, 2013. Even more shocking are the trends of job growth, unemployment, economic growth, home prices, foreclosures, inflation, gas prices, stocks, interest rates, manufacturing .... These graphs published by CNNMoney under "Obama's economy: a snapshot" show extraordinary progress.

If you are not yet convinced that there is a nefarious socialist agenda in play, look at some of Obama's recent cabinet appointees. Silvia Burwell, is president of the Walmart Foundation and formerly at McKinsey and Company, Nike and Met Life -- definitely an anti-capitalist. She was nominated for OMB (Office of Management and Budget) director. Ernie Moniz is nominated to replace Stephen Chu as Energy Secretary. He did research at MIT on coal's future, nuclear and natural gas funded by BP, Chevron and ARAMCO -- a real tree-hugger.

If you don't see how this is leading America down the wrong path and on the road to socialism then you are not looking at it the right way. Let's be clear. There is no doubt Obama is a socialist. How do we know? Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Michael Savage, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, recent KMJ additions Roger Hedgecock and Brett Winterble and the cardre of very influential talk entertainment personalities are telling this to us 24 hours a day, seven days a week since 2008.

Locally we have our own media personalities corroborating this regularly.

But how does Obama's brain scorched socialist label comport with the favorable capitalist evidence presented? It seems contradictory. Well, that is not the right question to ask. First, you should not let evidence affect what you already believe. What you should be doing is to interpret the evidence to fit your belief. Use the conformation-bias shoehorn and you can easily force this conflicting evidence into your belief system.

The question should be how does positive capitalist news advance Obama's socialist agenda? The answer is back-door socialism.

Obama is posing as a capitalist, a capitalist Manchurian candidate if you will. He is trying to bring prosperity to all Americans, especially the rich, to gain not only control of the executive branch but also the legislative and judicial branch. Once he gets total control, he'll open the back door and let the socialist dogs in.

He will then reverse all policies to spread the wealth evenly and take all the guns away. McConnell, Boehner, Cantor and the Tea Party see right through Obama's ruse. That explains why Republicans are determined to stall or reverse economy now more than ever. There you have it.

With such incisive analysis, I expect Glenn Beck will soon be wooing me to be a staff member at The Blaze.
