The Sierra Mountain Little League Major division got their season started March 12 with the Dodgers beating the Giants 5-2.

The Dodgers opened the scoring in the first inning with a single by Ryan Omeara which drove in two runs. Cole Pelzl had a triple in the fourth inning that drove in two runs. It was Pelzl's first at bat of his career as he is playing baseball this season for the first time.

Ty Peterson had 12 strikeouts for the Dodgers and Sage Crosswhite had a solo homerun for the Giants.
