Yosemite High School 136-pound wrestler PJ Reyna placed tenth at the Feb. 23 Central Section Masters tournament at Mr. Whitney High in Visalia.

Reyna, who qualified for the Masters tournament by placing third at the Feb. 16 Sierra-Sequoia Divisional tournament, was defeated in his match for ninth place by a 11-8 decision to Dominic Lopez of Lemoore High School.

Reyna just missed advancing to the state tournament, as the top nine qualifies in each weight division from the Masters move on to the state meet this weekend.

Babe Ruth baseball

Babe Ruth baseball clinics will be held at 10 a.m. this Saturday and Saturday, March 9 at Yosemite High School.

Babe Ruth baseball is for players 13-15 years old.
