Nearly 400 crab lovers devoured 1,650 pounds of Dungeness crab at the Oakhurst Community Center Feb. 2.

The 27th Annual Oakhurst Sierra Rotary Club Crab Feed, along with a raffle featuring about $9,000 worth of merchandise donated by area businesses, raised about $10,000 that will be used for a number of Rotary community projects.

Members of the Yosemite High School Interact and Key clubs served the buckets of crab, along with salad, pasta and French bread. The crab was provided by Sierra Seafood of Oakhurst.

Event chairman, Dr. Bob Brosi, said he is always pleased to see such a great turnout by the community for the event.

"Lots of crab, lots of people and lots of fun," Brosi said.

Gold sponsor's for the event were Yosemite Bank and Sierra Tel.
