The Super Bowl presents many moments to make plays for the record books. Athletes have scored places in history with their memorable performances in the Super Bowl.

For example, wide receiver Jerry Rice, no stranger to the Super Bowl during his days with the San Francisco 49ers, holds the Super Bowl record for the most receiving yards in a single game after hauling in 215 yards on 11 catches in Super Bowl XXIII in 1989 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 49ers won the game 20-16.
