Helen Thompson Dunn died Jan. 19, 2013, at the age of 83.

Mrs. Dunn was a resident of Coarsegold for 24 years.

She was born March 31, 1929 in Denver, Colo.

Mrs. Dunn was involved in the Awana program through her church, and was a 4-H rabbit leader for many years.

She is survived by daughters Lynne Williams, Peggy Fry and Jackie Otero; son Joe Thompson; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Sierra Pines Church, 40855 Covey Ct., Oakhurst.
