The Madera Vintners Association's family wineries will present the Madera Wine Trail's "Wine & Chocolate Weekend" event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 9 and 10. This two day event features 12 wineries with award-winning wines.
There will be chocolate pairings, art, live music, gift shopping and food. Madera Wine Trail Passport Glasses are available for $30 from any participating winery both days of the event, and is your pass to wine-tasting on the Trail all weekend long. Pre-sale tickets cost $25 and may be purchased online through Feb. 8.
No large capacity tour buses (30+ person capacity) will be allowed at any participating winery on Wine & Chocolate Weekend. The Madera Wine Trail encourages safe driving through the use of designated drivers, limousines and shuttles. Designated Drivers are free of charge and can pick up a VIP kit at their first stop on the trail.

Birdstone will host live music both Saturday and Sunday. For lunch each day enjoy manicotti with marinara sauce, a fresh Italian green salad, along with Parmesan garlic bread -- all prepared by Chef Michael Mazzoni. There will also be specialty chocolates.

Chateau Lasgoity will have live music on Saturday and Sunday. Lunch is available from Full-O-Bull deli of Madera. The Sierra Lions Club will feature an assortment of dark chocolate covered strawberries, nuts and pretzels. The Vintage Barn will showcase hand crafted table linens, personalized pillows, and wine sacks. Big Paw's infused olive oils will be available to sample.

The Marie Wilson Band will perform both Saturday and Sunday and there will be food by Dusty Buns Bistro and treats from Valley Pistachio.
