Hugh "Larry" Lawrence Tooker died Dec. 27, 2012, at the age of 81.

Mr. Tooker was a resident of Ahwahnee for 20 years.

He was born Oct. 7, 1931 in Taft.

Mr. Tooker worked as a driller in the oil-petroleum industry.

He is survived by wife Susan Tooker; daughters Kim Tooker and Shawn Fernberg of Bakersfield; son Scott Standefer of Alaska; brother John Tooker of Bakersfield; sister Esther Ray of Taft; and 11 grandchildren.
