A vehicle went over the edge of Highway 41 on Deadwood Mountain around 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28 and crashed into thick brush. Because of that the driver was able to walk away from the scene with minor injuries according to those at the scene. He was being treated on site by Sierra Ambulance. Cal Fire responded to the scene and the Northbound lane of Highway 41 was shut down so a tow truck could pull the vehicle out of the embankment. CHP is investigating the accident.
